What Peec AI sells

Shows brands where they appear in AI answers

People now ask ChatGPT, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews which products to buy, and most brands have no idea if they show up in those answers. Peec AI gives marketing teams data on how visible their brand is across these tools and how it compares to competitors. Now they can see where they stand and where to win.

Red flags

None spotted.

Worth asking about

  • Open 90+ days. This role has been posted for three months or more. Ask why it's been hard to fill, and whether anyone left it.

Green flags

  • Publishes OTE. It tells you the on-target earnings up front. Most postings don't.

Based only on what the posting says. Flags are a starting point for your first call, not a final judgment.

Questions to ask on the first call

Built from what this posting leaves out. How they answer tells you as much as what they say.

  1. 1.

This role has been open a while. What's made it hard to fill?

The answer tells you what candidates saw that made them walk.

  2. 2.

What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?

OTE is what you could earn. This is how likely you are to earn it.

  3. 3.

What percentage of reps on the team have been here more than 18 months?

Tenure shows whether people stay long enough to get paid.

  4. 4.

Has the comp plan changed in the last 12 to 18 months? What changed?

A plan that changes every year means the goalposts keep moving.

  5. 5.

Who sits with reps and reviews calls each week?

Coaching is often what's behind a good or bad attainment number.

  6. 6.

Why is this role open? Did someone leave, or is it new?

New headcount is growth. A replacement means someone left. Ask why.

When the offer comes

Save these for later. They land better once they've said yes to you.

  1. 1.

Can I see the full comp plan in writing, including clawbacks and accelerators?

What's in writing is what gets paid. Read it before you sign.

  2. 2.

Can I see the actual comp distribution for the team last year, not just the OTE?

The spread shows what most reps really take home. OTE is just the target.

  3. 3.

I'd be walking away from earned commission to join. Is there room for a sign-on bonus to help cover that?

Leaving money behind is a fair reason to ask. The worst answer is no.

ABOUT PEEC AI Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win. We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office. ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a Senior Account Executive in New York to own our largest and most complex deals across North America. You will sell to SEO, marketing, and growth leaders at enterprise and agency accounts, run the full cycle from first conversation to close, and set the standard for how the US team sells. This is a senior seat in a young office. You will work side by side with the founding NYC team, and you will have a real say in how we build the US go-to-market: the playbook, the positioning, and the bar we hold ourselves to. If you want to be the rep others learn the motion from, this is that role. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Source and close new business across North America, owning the full cycle from discovery and demo through negotiation and close - Build your own pipeline into strategic accounts, and partner with SDRs and Marketing on targeted outbound across your patch - Multi-thread across senior stakeholders and build the business case that gets a new category onto a budget - Keep your CRM clean and your forecast honest, with a strong handle on deal progress - Build lasting relationships with your customers and spot expansion opportunities as their AI search programs grow - Set the bar for the AEs around you: share what works, help shape the playbook, and raise the quality of the whole team's selling - Feed what you learn on calls back into product, marketing, and the sales playbook. At this stage, your input shapes how we sell. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying software sales role - A consistent track record of overachievement against a quota of $1M+, sustained across multiple years rather than one strong run - Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals end to end, including negotiation and procurement - A builder of your own pipeline: you can point to closed deals that started with your own prospecting - Sharp communication and a natural ability to tell the story of a new category simply - Comfortable being the senior voice in a young team, and willing to set the standard rather than wait for one BONUS POINTS - Repeatedly achieving President's Club - Experience as an early sales hire in a high-growth, venture-backed startup - Experience selling SEO, analytics, or martech software - Interest in growing into a team leadership position as the US office scales - You already know what GEO and AEO stand for. WHAT WE OFFER - Transparent comp with a 50/50 base to variable split, plus equity - Comprehensive benefits package - Collaborative, high-energy in-office work environment - Opportunity to make a significant impact and define a new market category EEOC STATEMENT Peec AI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. COMPENSATION The base salary range for this position is $142,000 to $162,500 annually with anticipated on-target earnings being $284,000-$325,000.
