Questions to ask on the first call

Built from what this posting leaves out. How they answer tells you as much as what they say.

  1. 1.

What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?

OTE is what you could earn. This is how likely you are to earn it.

  2. 2.

What are the base and the OTE for this role?

No point investing hours before you know the number.

  3. 3.

What's the annual quota, and how was it set?

A quota built from real data is a target. Otherwise it's a hope.

  4. 4.

Where does pipeline come from: inbound, SDRs, or me?

Tells you how much of your week is prospecting versus selling.

  5. 5.

How long is ramp, and what's the quota during it?

Full quota on day one means you start behind.

  6. 6.

Why is this role open? Did someone leave, or is it new?

New headcount is growth. A replacement means someone left. Ask why.

› When the offer comes

Save these for later. They land better once they've said yes to you.

  1. 1.

Can I see the full comp plan in writing, including clawbacks and accelerators?

What's in writing is what gets paid. Read it before you sign.

  2. 2.

Can I see the actual comp distribution for the team last year, not just the OTE?

The spread shows what most reps really take home. OTE is just the target.

  3. 3.

I'd be walking away from earned commission to join. Is there room for a sign-on bonus to help cover that?

Leaving money behind is a fair reason to ask. The worst answer is no.

Senior Director, Agency Partnerships About LoopMe LoopMe uses AI to change how brand advertising is bought, measured, and optimised. Where most adtech platforms optimise for impressions or clicks, we optimise for what actually matters to brands — awareness, purchase intent, foot traffic, and sales. Our outcomes-based approach consistently delivers 2–5x the performance of industry benchmarks, which is why the world’s leading brands, agencies, and publishers work with us. We’ve grown at 40% CAGR every year since 2018, generating over $2 billion in cumulative gross revenue, and we’re building toward $1 billion in annual revenue. That growth is powered by a 400-person global team across 19 cities — and by commercial talent that knows how to sell something genuinely differentiated in a crowded market. If you want to represent a product that wins on results, not relationships alone, this is the right place. The opportunity As Senior Director, Agency Partnerships, you own and grow LoopMe’s most important relationships across holding company and independent agencies. You report to the SVP, Global Partnerships, and operate as a senior individual contributor — setting the partnership strategy for your portfolio, shaping high-value commercial frameworks, and unlocking scaled, multi-market opportunities that drive incremental revenue for LoopMe. What you’ll do • Own a revenue number tied to agency-sourced and agency-influenced spend across holding company and independent agency portfolios. • Develop and execute an agency partnership strategy that aligns our outcomes-based solutions with network priorities (scale, governance) and indie priorities (speed, innovation). • Source, structure, and close complex trading agreements and strategic initiatives that create long-term, scalable value for LoopMe and its partners. • Deepen senior relationships across investment, programmatic, planning, and data/analytics teams, acting as a trusted advisor on media, data, and measurement. • Lead joint business planning with priority agencies, setting clear objectives, success metrics, and growth plans that unlock incremental budgets and new briefs. • Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, and Measurement to build compelling narratives and solution packages for agency partners. • Represent LoopMe at industry events, agency summits, QBRs, and thought-leadership forums, showcasing our differentiated outcomes-based proposition. • Manage disciplined pipeline forecasting and reporting through Salesforce, maintaining high standards of data quality and predictability. What you’ll bring Essential: • Established, current relationships with senior and working-level stakeholders across major holding company agencies and leading independent agencies, spanning media investment, programmatic, and strategy. • History of delivering and growing multi-million-dollar revenue through complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships in digital media, ad tech, or programmatic advertising. • Deep expertise in mobile or video advertising and the broader programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, identity, measurement, and data partnerships). • Strong strategic selling skills, with experience managing long sales cycles, joint business planning, and sophisticated commercial negotiations at both network and independent agencies. • Previous experience in mobile, CTV, video, or broader ad tech environments. Nice to have: • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor — directly owning deals and relationships while engaging executive stakeholders internally and externally. • Entrepreneurial mindset and high degree of ownership, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment across different agency models and cultures. • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning. • Outcomes-based or measurement-led solution experience.
