The job
- What you'd do
- Lead nine salespeople directly and hire, train and manage regional sales managers who sell security tools to very large companies. You'll travel 50 to 75 percent of the time within your region.
- What you'd sell
Keeps company cloud apps and data safe without slowing workers
When employees need to reach company apps and files from outside the office, they usually connect back through a VPN and the office firewall. The problem is, that detour slows everyone down, and the company loses track of where its data goes. Netskope secures cloud apps, data, and AI in real time, everywhere, so workers get fast access and the company keeps full control.

Questions to ask on the first call
Built from what this posting leaves out. How they answer tells you as much as what they say.
- 1.
What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?
OTE is what you could earn. This is how likely you are to earn it.
- 2.
What's the base, and how is the rest paid out?
OTE without a base doesn't tell you what you can count on.
- 3.
Who's the economic buyer, and who else is in the deal?
Selling to a CFO and selling to a developer are different jobs.
- 4.
What's the annual quota, and how was it set?
A quota built from real data is a target. Otherwise it's a hope.
- 5.
Where does pipeline come from: inbound, SDRs, or me?
Tells you how much of your week is prospecting versus selling.
