The job
- What you'd do
- Find and win new customers among counties, cities and public safety agencies, handling each deal from first call to signed contract. You'd work remotely, giving product demos online.
- What you'd sell
Voice AI that replaces phone menus for big companies
When a big company gets a lot of customer calls, it usually sends callers through a phone menu of press-one, press-two options. The problem is, callers get stuck pressing buttons, and the calls that get through still need a lot of staff. Sadie is a voice AI that answers those calls like a real conversation, around the clock, so companies spend less on staffing and customers get help faster.

Questions to ask on the first call
Built from what this posting leaves out. How they answer tells you as much as what they say.
- 1.
What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?
OTE is what you could earn. This is how likely you are to earn it.
- 2.
What percentage of reps on the team have been here more than 18 months?
Tenure shows whether people stay long enough to get paid.
- 3.
Has the comp plan changed in the last 12 to 18 months? What changed?
A plan that changes every year means the goalposts keep moving.
- 4.
Who sits with reps and reviews calls each week?
Coaching is often what's behind a good or bad attainment number.
- 5.
What are the base and the OTE for this role?

The Role
Hyper-Reach is looking for a driven Account Executive to expand our presence across the public safety market. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with emergency managers, 911 directors, sheriffs, and local government leaders to put life-saving technology in the hands of the communities they protect. You’ll own your territory from first conversation to signed contract, shape how we compete against the biggest names in the industry and build a career selling something that truly matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead compelling virtual product demonstrations that connect Hyper-Reach’s capabilities to each agency’s mission, risks, and community needs
- Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle with persistence and agility, adapting to the urgent, unpredictable schedules of public safety professionals
- Develop tailored proposals and pricing, and contribute to competitive RFP and bid responses
- Navigate government procurement, budget cycles, and approval processes, serving as a trusted guide for buyers and their stakeholders
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to expand Hyper-Reach’s footprint across emergency management, 911/PSAP, law enforcement, and municipal markets
- Maintain an accurate, well-documented pipeline in our CRM (Pipedrive) and provide reliable forecasts
- Collaborate with lead generation, marketing, and product teams to sharpen messaging and improve outcomes
- Ensure a seamless transition for new customers by partnering with Account Success on onboarding and long-term relationships
- Represent Hyper-Reach at state and regional emergency management and 911 conferences
- Develop deep expertise in Hyper-Reach’s products, pricing, and integrations to serve as a credible advisor to prospects
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
What You Bring
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Exceptional virtual presentation skills and the ability to deliver confident, engaging demos to audiences ranging from frontline staff to elected officials
- A consultative approach: you ask the right questions, listen closely, and position solutions around the customer’s real needs
- Discipline in managing a full pipeline, with strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Polished written and verbal communication across phone, email, and video
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and the self-motivation to thrive in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Experience selling SaaS solutions
- A background in state and local government (SLED) sales, particularly in public safety, emergency management, or 911
- Working knowledge of RFPs, cooperative purchasing contracts, and public-sector procurement
