Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager, you’ll own all new business revenue across Scotland, growing PSL’s market share with both corporate accounts (pharmacy chains of 7–120 sites) and independents (1–6 sites). Guided by a Business Territory Plan of your own making, you’ll work towards clear revenue targets and KPIs – independently, but as part of a team that shares knowledge and best practice. At the heart of the role is understanding each prospect’s business and shaping the right solution from our product range, then turning it into quotations and proposals that deliver genuine value. Your customer base will span small to large pharmacy groups throughout Scotland, and much of your time will be spent on the road, meeting customers and prospects face to face. Events, networking and social media will also play a part in building your pipeline. Accurate monthly forecasting and an up-to-date CRM keep everything on track, while your insight into competitors and the wider market feeds directly back to management through regular reporting against territory objectives.
