Why it matters: OTE tells you what you could earn. Attainment tells you how realistic it is.

Ask: “What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?”

The job

What you'd do
Sell Everpure's data technology to some of the largest manufacturers in southern Germany, mainly in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. You'll grow existing customers, win new ones, and handle each sale from first call to signed deal.
What you'd sell

Flash data storage for research labs and government teams

When a research team has to store and reach years of genomics and imaging data, there is a lot to keep track of. The problem is, budgets have to stretch further every year, while that data still has to stay usable for a decade or more. Everpure sells flash data storage, so customers can grow their research capability instead of just buying more capacity.

Questions to ask on the first call

Built from what this posting leaves out. How they answer tells you as much as what they say.

  1. 1.

What percentage of fully ramped reps hit quota last year?

OTE is what you could earn. This is how likely you are to earn it.

  2. 2.

What percentage of reps on the team have been here more than 18 months?

Tenure shows whether people stay long enough to get paid.

  3. 3.

Has the comp plan changed in the last 12 to 18 months? What changed?

A plan that changes every year means the goalposts keep moving.

  4. 4.

Who sits with reps and reviews calls each week?

Coaching is often what's behind a good or bad attainment number.

  5. 5.

What are the base and the OTE for this role?

No point investing hours before you know the number.

  6. 6.

Why is this role open? Did someone leave, or is it new?

New headcount is growth. A replacement means someone left. Ask why.

› When the offer comes

Save these for later. They land better once they've said yes to you.

  1. 1.

Can I see the full comp plan in writing, including clawbacks and accelerators?

What's in writing is what gets paid. Read it before you sign.

  2. 2.

Can I see the actual comp distribution for the team last year, not just the OTE?

The spread shows what most reps really take home. OTE is just the target.

  3. 3.

I'd be walking away from earned commission to join. Is there room for a sign-on bonus to help cover that?

Leaving money behind is a fair reason to ask. The worst answer is no.

Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem. This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us. THE ROLE As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll help us grow with some of the largest manufacturers in Southern Germany. You’ll own a focused portfolio of enterprise accounts across Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, a mix of established Everpure customers and new logos, and lead the full sales cycle from first conversation to close. Manufacturers are investing in smart factories, AI, connecting factory systems with IT, supply chain resilience and protection against ransomware. You’ll get to know those challenges inside each customer’s business and show how Everpure’s data platform helps solve them. You’ll work closely with partners and internal teams, build early success by growing existing customers, then expand into whitespace. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own a focused portfolio of enterprise manufacturing accounts and run each one like a business, with clear multi-year account plans. - Grow existing Everpure customers by uncovering new projects, teams and use cases, and win new logos in whitespace accounts. - Lead the full sales cycle and direct pursuit teams of sales engineers, partner managers and specialists. - Build trusted relationships up to the C-suite, framing conversations around business outcomes, ROI and risk rather than products. - Become an expert in manufacturing: learn how your customers make money, what their leadership worries about, and speak their language. - Work with channel partners and system integrators to widen your reach and co-sell into your accounts. - Build a strong pipeline, forecast accurately and consistently exceed your targets. WHAT YOU BRING - A track record of exceeding quota selling to large enterprise accounts, ideally in enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity or infrastructure. - Experience selling business value: you diagnose customer problems and turn them into outcomes the business cares about. - Experience with manufacturing, automotive or industrial customers is a strong plus. - Strong account planning, prospecting and stakeholder skills, from IT leaders to the board. - Experience co-selling with channel partners in a direct and indirect sales model. - An interest in data, cloud and AI. A storage background isn’t required, but you’ll need the curiosity to learn the technology and position it credibly. - An owner’s mindset: you’re coachable, seek out feedback and get things done. - Fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel to customers across Southern Germany. #LI-REMOTE WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US: - Innovation: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers. - Growth: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful. We have been named Fortune's Best Workplaces in Technology™, Fortune's Best Workplaces in the Bay Area™, and certified as a Great Place to Work®! - Team: We build each other up and set aside ego for the greater good. And because we understand the value of bringing your full and best self to work, we offer a variety of perks to manage a healthy balance, including flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events.
